Welcome to Middle School Art! My name is Ms. Katie and I love cultivating creative thinking and making art with young people. My goal is to have students enjoy learning, develop an appreciation for art, and make meaningful connections between art and the world around them. In addition to teaching art, I am a metalsmith who creates sculptural and wearable art. I have a degree in Art History from Lewis & Clark College, as well as a degree in Art Education from Montana State. In my free time I enjoy live music, football, camping, gardening, flowers, cooking, beautiful dresses, walking my dogs, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I look forward to seeing you in the Art Room!
