Hello! I am so excited to be joining the Monforton Family as the Middle School Counselor. I have been a School Counselor for the past 4 years. Prior to that I worked for Montana State University- Go CATS!!
I love being a School Counselor because it allows me the privilege of building relationships with my students and helping them grow into being their best selves. I also love the chance to partner with families, staff and the community to create a safe and healthy school where all students feel welcome and heard.
I am originally from the coast of Washington and I moved to Montana in 2013. I have two grown children and 7 grandchildren! Some of my favorite activities include being on the water, hiking, reading, and walking my golden retriever. I am a huge fan of coffee and Bobcat Football.

This is my 13th year as a school counselor and I currently split my time between both the elementary and middle school. I love helping students recognize their potential and their strengths. Seeing them gain confidence, feel capable and persevere in spite of the tough stuff is the best part of my job.
I was born and raised in Montana but moved to Washington after high school and lived there for 14 years. My husband and I moved home six years ago. We have one daughter, 2 dogs, sheep, bunnies and a cat. I love being on the water, in the mountains or at home with a good book and a cup of tea.
