I moved to Montana when I was 23 years old. Shortly after, I enrolled at Montana State University to obtain my Masters in Education, School Counseling.
I have been a School Counselor for 12 years. I first did my practicum and internship at Monforton while studying at MSU. I was a School Counselor in Whitehall for 1 year and have been working at Monforton for the past 11 years. Being a School Counselor is my passion and what I love to do!
I am married to my husband, Dustin and have three children, Luke , Liv and Troy. We have a beautiful boxer named Sage. I love to camp, spend time at the lake and in the mountains with my family!
Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself as the 5-8 counselor at Monforton. I have been at Monforton since 2016-2017. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with our students and their families. I strive to make sure each student feels safe, heard, and supported at school.
I grew up in the badlands of eastern Montana and am now enjoying all that the mountains have to offer in this area. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my dog, traveling, running, skiing, cooking, reading, and spending time with family/friends.

This is my 13th year as a school counselor and I currently split my time between both the elementary and middle school. I love helping students recognize their potential and their strengths. Seeing them gain confidence, feel capable and persevere in spite of the tough stuff is the best part of my job.
I was born and raised in Montana but moved to Washington after high school and lived there for 14 years. My husband and I moved home six years ago. We have one daughter, 2 dogs, sheep, bunnies and a cat. I love being on the water, in the mountains or at home with a good book and a cup of tea.
