Welcome to 4th Grade!
Welcome to 4th grade! This is my first year at Monforton and I’m privileged to be a part of a such a caring and involved community! Before joining Monforton, I spent nearly a decade in special education at the middle school level. I have also taught 8th grade and 2nd grade, both long-term teaching positions. During the summers, I work at the Museum of the Rockies teaching STEM and history-themed summer camps. I received a BS in education from Montana State University-Bozeman. When I was in fourth grade, I enjoyed climbing fences and riding horses on my grandparent’s farm in Louisiana. That was also the start of a nine year long swimming career. Now days, I still spend as much time as I can outdoors, swimming, biking and hiking with my two boys and my hound dog, Pepper.
