Hi, my name is Stacey Springer. My husband Ryan and I have two daughters, Brooke, 23 and Carli, 21. I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, exercising with our two dogs, or just relaxing at home. I was born and raised in Buffalo, Wyoming before moving to Bozeman where I attended Montana State University. I earned a degree in Elementary Education and have been teaching Kindergarten at Monforton School for the past 14 years. I co-teach with Mrs. Morgan. She teaches Language Arts to our students while I teach Math, Science, and Social Studies. My favorite part of teaching is helping my students become the best versions of themselves each and every day!
My name is Heather Morgan and I have been teaching kindergarten at Monforton for 9 years. I have lived in the Bozeman area since I moved from Billings to attend MSU 28 years ago. My husband and I have three daughters, four horses, and two sweet dogs. My favorite pastimes include spending time with my family, hiking and reading. I currently co-teach with Mrs.Springer. She teaches math, science and social studies while I teach language arts. My favorite thing about kindergarten is teaching children how to read. Also, the absolute excitement for learning that five year olds bring into the classroom. Thank you for entrusting me with your sweet children.
My name is Abby Roberts. I am originally from Bozeman and have loved the opportunity to teach back in the valley! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood from Montana State University in 2012. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood from the University of Montana in the Spring of 2020.
Kindergarten in my passion and I am looking forward to another great year shaping young minds!
I currently co-teach with Sarah Schrader, sharing our students each day. I teach Math–while Ms. Schrader teaches Reading.
My name is Sarah Schrader. My partner and I moved to Bozeman this summer from the coast of Maine and I am so excited to join the Monforton learning community! This will be my 8th year teaching but my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten and I think it’s my sweet spot! I love the spongy, magical, playful and curious minds of 5 and 6 year olds. I am lucky enough to team teach with Miss Roberts this year!
I grew up in Rangeley, Maine and went to Hamilton College to study psychology and art and play on the basketball team. I went on to spend a few years as an Americorps Volunteer and a farm apprentice followed by a wonderfully holistic experience getting my masters in Elementary Education at Antioch University. When I’m not teaching I love to backpack, ski, mountain bike, sail, surf, play in the water on boats and boards of all kinds, cook, garden, and make things! I infuse my passions for the outdoors and the arts into my teaching each day.
