MRS. DAY
Email: jday@monfortonschool.org
I was born and raised in Delaware, as the third of eight children. After high school, an international wrestling career took me across the country and around the world. When injury ended my athletic career, I began my second passion, teaching. I have experience in a K-5 one-room schoolhouse in Colorado, a high school math teacher in Delaware and now a middle school math teacher in Montana. My teaching philosophy is to engage students in hands-on, meaningful activities that connect the topics to their every day lives. I strive to pass on to my students my passion for learning and help them see how topics in math are connected to each other and the world outside the classroom walls.
