3rd and 4th Grade Spanish
Students in 3rd and 4th grade have Spanish for 30 minutes once a week. They are introduced to beginning Spanish language and culture through fun activities and games.
5th Grade Spanish
Students in 5th grade have Spanish once a week for 50 minutes. They are reviewing basic language and cultural concepts, as well as building on what they already know.
6th/7th/8th Grade Spanish
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spanish meet twice a week for 50 minutes, as well as every other Friday. Students are gaining proficiency by being exposed to a variety of authentic language input.
High School Spanish for 8th Graders
Students in the High School Spanish class meet every day. They are getting the equivalent of what would be considered Spanish I. Students continue building proficiency through a variety of authentic language input. If they are successful, they have the option to take Spanish II when they enter high school.
