Hello! My name is Jamie Lyon and this will be my first year as a classroom teacher! I am so
excited to be teaching third grade and to be working at Monforton. I am originally from Colorado
but have lived in Bozeman for five years. I graduated from Montana State University in 2020
with a degree in Elementary Education. I was lucky enough to complete my student teaching
experience at Monforton and fell in love with the school. The sense of community and school
wide support for both students and staff is remarkable. In my free time you will find me outside
skiing, mountain biking, and spending time on the river! I can not wait for this year to get started!
